Blev glad att det fanns en app med Svenska nyheter på Engelska! Fast, upptäckte att man skriver även personliga uppfattningar och åsikter, som gör att nyhets appen kanske har en politisk agenda? Känns inte bra!

You can’t even click to see more news from the country you are in. The UI for member sign-in and sign-out is blocking the button behind it.

I like The Local. For being quite a small newspaper, they update the site often with unbiased and neutral news and guides for foreigners who would otherwise maybe not have access to information that actually is quite important, as some government information is seldom translated into other languages.

Update: given 5 stars back since the UI issue doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. It's be en months that other users are complaining about the ui issue that prevents us clicking Sweden section since it's blocked by the Member sign out button. Please fix this! I've paid for a year now and can't read all of the news in the app.

The app was finally updated and now it works as it should. Notifications send you to the right place, you can scroll through the list of articles, and on top of that it looks really nice! :)

Love the way your app has developed, obviously everything is now on fingertips need not go to browser every time, this was something I was waiting for long time. Additionally the new sections you have provided are amazing so we can filter out and read which information or news we need. Another good addition to the app could be adding a bookmark feature so we can easily go back or review the information again. Thanks once again lovely team of The Local ❤️

Great app, essential for English speakers living abroad!

Every other article redirects to a membership page.

The Sweden section is covered by "Member Sign out" banner and as it overlaps i can't click on the country section to read all the news. I am not renewing my subscription until that is fixed.

Extremely buggy app... And it has NO search button... Also, some writers and podcast hosts obviously don't have an objective tone in The Local Sweden. They simply have a political agenda. It can be subtle at times but also repetitively suggestive in other cases. They seem to take advantage of situations by stirring up the pot and instigating more drama. I would definitely not be renewing in Sweden... Surprisingly, The Local Spain is quite informative, more neutral and is less focused on complain

Please add night mode to the app… Also I think the app would benefit of a way to sort the articles chronologically.
