This is a great app that works wonderfully and has a clean interface. Love all the extra features that let you customize the settings. The developer deserves a trophy. Only wish the speed went above 3x, like up to 4.5x, for example.

After being a long-time user of Castro, I decided to try Overcast. The design is elegant, supports custom playlists, podcast chapters, and custom settings per podcast, and more importantly doesn't hide any feature behind a paywall. I’m an avid podcast consumer and I think I just found my podcast app 🙌 I'm happy to pay the premium subscription to continue supporting the development of the app.

Hola, creo que funcionalmente es la mejor, pero podría mejorar el algoritmo de recomendación o básicamente tener la opción de consultar el ranking de Apple Podcasts para la búsqueda de nuevo contenido.

Estaría mejor si también tuviera versión en español. De todos modos gracias, es muy buena app

Great improvements in the hearing side with the speed boost and so on. Amazing quality on this with no weird or flute type voices. Huge. Simple as expected but I miss the option to see some sorting on podcast with new episodes even if not subscribed. It assumes the way is to subscribe to all podcasts and this is not my case, for some feeds I only download some chapter and not others, so far I cannot do this in an optimal way because due to the alphabetical sorting, I need to go through all of th

La mejor app de podcast

A pesar de contar con características muy interesantes y únicas tiene tambien grandes carencias

Sin duda, está arriba en el podio de las Apps para podcast. Las funciones de velocidad automática que elimina los silencios y el voice boost reducen enormemente el tiempo de escucha y se entiende mucho mejor. En su día compre la App y no han mantenido el modelo de negocio. Ahora tiene subscripción anual. Aquello como los upload o seguir via web podrían desglosarlo en otra compra in-App aparte, así se podría separar la publicidad y opciones en diferentes compras o suscripciones.

I’m a long time user and I can’t find any reason that justifies getting rid of two very useful features: automatically adding all episodes of a newly followed podcast (maybe it’s there, I just can’t find it) and being able to see how much memory space each podcast takes (so I have an overview of how much I actually have downloaded on my phone if I’m going to be without an internet connection, for example). It saddens me, but I might have to look for a new podcasting app after so many years.
