Way more customizable than other podcast apps, the developer is super active and keeps up with all of the latest iOS updates, and the design is really clean. Have used this app for years and am never going back

Lets you select the podcasts you like and download the episodes you want, and put the episodes in the order you prefer. Jump forward and backward with the headset’s buttons. Highly configurable, yet easy to use.

Updates since about a year ago are making me consider moving to another podcast app. The app now makes it unnecessary steps to go to a show, from description. The most common action when opening an episode description is for me to see an overview of the episode list of a show. Make a direct link from the episode description screens.

The app is updated at a steady rate. New features are carefully brought in. The developer care about your user experience.

The latest update to the app fixes is nothing but an improvement. 7 years+ subscriber, looking forward to the coming updates

Overcast just got a new update that improved a lot of stuff and so far I love it, things are clearer and easier to understand.

I have been a happy subscriber for as long as Overcast has had subscriptions. For how much I use the app each day it is worth every penny.

Mycket enkel och lättanvänd spelare för poddar. Tyvärr går det inte att dela avsnitt med andra via meddelandeappar som Discord. Enda sättet att dela en podd är genom att gå till poddens hemsida i en webbläsare och kopiera länken därifrån. Lite opraktiskt på en mobiltelefon plus att det tar mycket längre tid.

Simply the best podcast player out there. The new update solidifies this well earned position.

Have loved this app for many years. Recently it has started to crash while listening and loose all progress in the episode. Hoping for a fix to this bug.

Thanks! I never requested it, but it happens so often! Thanks! New version is shaping up well, I now just wich you would also try your app with "show button shapes" enabled, it's not so polished there unfortunately!

it’s been… 6 weeks since the (catastrophic imo) ”10-years anniversary” update and it’s still broken in a 100 little ways. stops while playing, app crashes, descriptions in playlist are for the wrong episode, watch widget is suddenly gone, streaming is removed. Things take more clicks to do, majority of changes aren’t better just different. I can’t believe how something this half-baked was released.

Since the ”Downloads” button disappeared I find it difficult to download all episodes of a new podcast at once. I’m going back to Apple’s podcast app.
