NYT Games: Word, Number, Logic Critiques de l'application

I love this app! Is Vertex ever coming to the app though? I love this game and it's only available through the browser, which is a bit frustrating. Thanks for the addition of Strands!

Love the games, but why can’t Kenken be on the app?

These games make me happy. Seriously.

I love this game, it has even become a family game and we all share our performances! As a French speaker, English is not my native language. There are often words I don’t know and would like to understand quickly. Would it be possible to get a definition of the word when clicking on it for example ? Thanks a lot team !!

Great range of games and it’s nice to have everything in one place in the app… but more and more is going behind the paywall. Also, games that were free then end up behind a paywall, this is underhand and unfair. In addition, there are adverts anyway. Greedy. I’ve also noticed that the app is becoming increasingly buggy, which again is not ideal considering to get the full range of games there is fee to do so.

I use this app every day, most often using the calendar option to go back for old Sunday puzzles. I'm back to 2008. It is stable, clear and great on the iPad.

Perfect start to the day here in France

I have been having lots of problems downloading puzzles lately. No Sunday puzzle, two monday puzzles, no Wednesday, etc. This have been going on for the last few months. Everything was fine before that. I really do enjoy doing the puzzles, and find myself too often disappointed.

We used to have to order books of NYT Sunday crossword puzzles, but now we have them whenever and wherever we want (as long as there's WiFi). Really enjoy doing them on the iPad. And, living in France and traveling throughout Europe, we're almost never without a puzzle to do.

The crossword itself is really good, but this app keeps on failing: not delivering puzzles on the right day, failing to recognize subscriptions. The support team is no use even when they do bother to respond. I wish the NYT had'nt opted for Magmic

Living outside the US, what would I do without this app. It starts my day and has done so for years. Love it.

I do the xword daily and live it. Don't understand why suddenly there are ads on the app. At €14.99 shouldn't have to see them.

I can't open the app because it keeps crashing. Don't update!!

The app just works, even when there are special puzzle rules.

App not working today, be it on iPhone or iPad. What’s the problem? I am giving it 4 stars because it usually works really well, though.

Mini, tiles and box are paywalled now and all we get back is pips?

It’s well designed and used to perform flawlessly. Unfortunately some recent updates have made it flaky! The keyboard on my pro max phone has the tiny size of an SE screen, and the app routinely “forgets” my progress - I just lost 20 minutes and a third of a grid of the Sunday puzzle!
