I used this app for a few days. It’s easy to use but not good at providing feedback. Like when I book a taxi it does not show me where the taxi is in maps or how far away it is. Except when I book it shows estimated time. After that the app sometimes rebooks another cab in the middle of waiting. Also they want credit card info to be saved for future bookings. Realtime bookings like right now are supported though. Some rough edges but a life savior. The Uber in Florence is spotty at best. And ve

Very prompt and courteous. Would have rated 5 stars if app would have allowed booking in advance. Definitely recommend.

We used Apptaxi while visiting Lucca. They were pretty reliable, with there only being one time we couldn’t get one when we called but then we were connected to one within a minute or two of the second request. It worked inside and outside of the city and the taxi drivers were friendly and fair.

The app was extremely difficult to get installed and set up. It took 3 days to finally get the code. Once I was successful in setting up the app it has been very useful.

I was able to get taxis in Florence Italy pretty easy with the app. What’s weird is that after you order the cab, there is no feedback about the status of the request or how long you’ll be waiting. As a user, I want a status of my request and to know for certian that the taxi is coming so I can feel confident about my trip.

I was skeptical due to the reviews, but I used the app to schedule a taxi to leave at 3:15am for an early flight. The app let me know when the driver was on the way, and there were no problems. I would definitely use it again.

My son, who studied in Firenze for a semester earlier this year, recommended this app. Simple to use, including adding a cc to reserve a scheduled pick up. Driver was prompt and professional. Don’t hesitate to use this app.

The UI on this application is mot good because once you order the taxi you can no longer access the map functionality to see where the taxi is and where you are. If you swipe down on the pop up screen after ordering it will cancel the order, or at least the apps UI displays like you have cancelled the order. Having to a separate authorization for CC in a web browser is poor development and should be taken care of in-app.
