Checked all my boxes

I figured out everything despite poor documentation and on line demos not answering my questions. I had a problem with midi notes hanging in AUM but the fix was not to have any inputs set in the AUv3 and use the AUM midi settings. Also the chords would loop no matter if I hit play and not the loop button. Found that if you put the chords in the last section of the song when you just hit play it will stop when the chords stopped. Other than that midi control is great and midi learn worked great w

Time for an update ?

Just found this app and am really enjoying it’s capabilities. The user guide page says coming soon. lol Some actual documentation and new features would be useful. Cheers

Wonderful for live performances, but…

The app is the best for what I am doing (see title of review), but I do have a couple items that would put it over the top. I truly believe if it had at least one of these two suggestions it would be truly amazing. 1. MIDI assignable presets or 2. AUv3 compliance The reason- I use it to manually progress through the chords during live performances. Having MIDI assignable presets and/or AUv3 integration would make calling up different song presets with one button on my MIDI controller a breeze

语言使用不方便,希望快解决

I downloaded it when I saw Chinese on it. It didn't. It was very difficult to use

Beautiful

Great app, music theory made easy. Chords and scales made easy to understand and chord progressions fun

Great app!!

Most ppl probably use this to record song ideas or explore and learn chord progressions, but I got it so my wife (not a musician, but a great singer) could add 1 finger chords to our songs. It is amazing for that purpose, especially considering $8.00!!! I have several hardware synths that don't do half as good a job. Sliding a finger along the glass makes organ or string chords easy.and seamless. Super value in this app!!

The internal sounds

I wrote an earlier review, but didn’t mention the internal sounds. I’m using the Navichord as a live instrument in a classic rock band (wife playing it), and didn’t realize how authentic the rock organ and strings are, also the Rhodes piano. Rod Stewart’s Maggie May sounds amazing! We can stick with the Navi sounds and make song transitions easier, since the Navi program remembers which instrument you save in each song, as well as the volume. Really glad Navi still works with iPad 2, or I might

Piano Beginners

The app (while lacking in some functionality) helps to make the simple seem more obvious.

Just got better

It was a solid app before, and with this update it is now a good app. Wish I had a way to quickly select a chord shape and play chords of those types automatically. Right now you're limited to major/minor triads.

Awesomeness

Simple.effective .immediately inspired. Worth it. Solid with no bugs.

Lovely controller

Excellent control and pretty darn good for learning what makes up chords and scales too.

From "useless" to "very useful".

Sometime ago I gave this a bad review. That's no longer justified. They have turned this around, and made it a very useful tool. Get it.

A steady march past perfection

One of the few apps to continuously surprise me with its invention. It was a solid performer to begin with, but each update opens up new options I hadn't even considered.

Was always good, but...

...this new update makes it a must have. Exceptional. April 2016: And again! November 2016: Still being polished, still top of its own tree. Recommended.

Awesome product

this is the most used app at this point on my music iPad

Nice app

Great app. Good chord structure insight. Excellent sampled sounds (particularly the piano)

Great

Love this app! great for midi controller, plus helps for music theory study. See the chord/scale relationships come to life. Beautiful layout and design, beautiful sound quality.

Music geometry... it’s my bridge to music theory

Music geometry... it’s my bridge to music theory

Quality app !!! Keeps getting mo and mo better!!

Bam bam 💥.link is great and the pads ohhh Update: thanks for making this even better ; I like it !! I like it a lot ;helps me learn chords and make songs:) Midi works great with other synth apps ! Great!!

Best app

If you need to play a chord with one note this app is easiest to use and works flawlessly and seamlessly with most other apps and hardware

No midi or audio export

Is that coming or am I missing something?

2 Negative User Reviews for Navichord • chord sequencer

No Manual

Should have a manual to show you how to use all the option instead of just a couple videos especially controlling other apps and setting up controllers

Glitch?

For some reason, when i click the edit button and then try to press the square on the bottom right of the chord, nothing happens. I can no longer edit any of the chords.
