New updated maps do not cover the same areas as before and the price went from 389:- to not covering the same areas up to 849:- . I have enjoyed this app but I will not be renewing my subscription. For the fact Åland and western Finland are not covered any longer and the price is more than double .

Been using boating for ages for planning and backup in case my MFD goes black. A bit blunt when it comes to connecting to AIS and external networks but for me it doesn’t really matter. When it comes to support it’s of course a complete nightmare to navigate Garmin and those guys sites and support structures, it seems like big companies like doesn’t want their customers to contact them and they definitely doesn’t listen to the market.

iPad Air IOS 18.5, latest Garmin Boating app. Suddenly disappear chart data on the screen, route and track visible. When I click on Menu the app crashes.

When following a route the navigation line (active leg) is way too thick and hides other information underneath it. Very irritating. Either slim it down or make it possible to adjust.

Changing the subscription model overnight with an update. I am guessing people will miss to turn off autorenew after the update. How to in the short term fix recurring revenue numbers. And in the long term piss people off and scare them away to competitors. I have been staying within this app because I like it. Will for next summer change to skippo instead.
