Simple and no distractions
I’ve been using pocket casts for a few years and much prefer it to the native iOS app and Spotify. So nice to have a simple, well designed app that does one thing well. I also love that it’s not constantly trying to force new content on me.
Good but too expensive
It’s a great podcast player, I really enjoy being able to pick up where I left on a different device.
However, the bookmark feature is a premium function and I will lot pay a subscription to use it. It’s a shame since it’s a really useful feature. There should be a way to unlock it for a one time fee.
Really nice pod player
I like the app. You subscribe to your favorites and the app those the rest, auto update and auto download, easy play and you are able to change the speed during listening.
The ads banner is a dealbreaker
So I’ve been a user for many years and I’ve turned a number of people on to your player. But this new upgrade has made me seriously consider to change podcast player. The banner advertising Pocketcast + is simply so big and so annoying I can’t deal with it! I will wait for the next update with fingers crossed that you will have come to your senses and removed it. Please, don’t make me leave Pocketcast. 😜
