Nice app with multiple different data layers. Would have loved if the radar layer were available in a CarPlay enabled app. Would be great to be able to see bad weather coming up ahead.

I use to watch wether everyday before going out

I’m a sailor, wind information is key and the app gives accurate data based on all major wether institutes forecast. Also having observations as overlay.

As a pilot, it’s always difficult to trust a weather app.but Windy turned out to be absolutely correct in the forecast flying over the Alps during four days. I have been scrutinise the forecast for flying in the Alps for over 1 1/2 year to find the perfect window..

Good visualization of selectable area. Perfect for wind to wave projection. I whish for free access for more frequent forecast updates but respect the rules business🤙

När man tittar på vindprognoser för specifika områden så är kamerabilderna irriterande. Ta gärna bort dom. Jag seglar och tittar på en tur från anholt till Sverige och störs av bilderna. I övrigt är det bra att få vindprognoser per timma.

Download Windy and you get all the weather forecast functions that you need. The free version is great and will probably fill most peoples need. But as a weather fanatic, I upgraded to the paid version. It’s worth every cent! One get asuperadvanced functions in the paid version. A lot of bang for the bucks!
