Key feature missing: saved articles sync cross device
It’s very frustrating I cannot retrieve the full list of articles I saved on my devices, because every device is displaying only the articles saved in that device. E.g. if I save an article on the iPhone app I can’t find it in the “saved” section on the iPad app. l consider it as an unmissable feature.
No more car play
App is good but why is it not showing up in CarPlay anymore?
Good app overall
Good overall, the audio section could use some love though. Occasionally crashes, not terribly easy to rearrange the playlist etc, inconsistent results when controlling it from Bluetooth headphones.

Excellent journalism, app less so
No comments on the journalism, which is excellent. The app is broadly good, but the previous version was much more stable. There are too many videos and distractions on this version: reading was easier before the last major update. I also find the Weekend page a bit confusing, with articles that can be scrolled like an Instagram story.
Smart, elegant, clever.
In this weirder than usual world, The Economist is a beacon of independence.

Bring back the next/previous article on lock screen
The content is amazing and has always been (been subscribed for 10+ years), however I need to be able to skip to the next article and the last update is quite annoying

Great journalism. Useful app. Yardstick for any attempt of audio edition. The interaction between audio and text remains to be improved.
Love the content, the app needs improvement though
The content of the Economist is unbeatable (although year subscription price could be lowered a bit, 300usd/year is nearly elitarian..) but the app needs some improvement, for example on the Search (often get stuck)
Content is great but the new app needs some fixing…
The content is top quality as usual, but the new app recently updated presents some key issues: text size inconsistent across the articles (and cannot be changed); same for audio bars logo, they keep changing in size and they look fine only once you click on them. Plesse fix these issues

I have been using this app for years without issues but recently it has started to slow down a lot and even crashes when using audio.
App crashing and slow
The app keeps crashing and became noticeably slow when available. Content remains excellent but the possibility to read articles on the go has become very frustrating
Love the content, hate the app
App is responding very slow, content and podcasts not loading correctly. I’d love to continue reading the economist but please improve your app
