12 Avis positifs des utilisateurs pour The Economist
Format of the pages
I very much miss the previous application, where we were reading in the format of the printed version.
How to improve your brain and open your mind
Read the espresso from the Economist early in the morning, and the weekly Economist at the end of the week. Factual information’ little opinion. The new app: jury is still out. On one hand I get previews through the week which is nice, and the app keeps track of what I’ve read. On the other hand the weekly edition doesn’t work too well.
Great content but audio queue experience is poor
I’m a long time subscriber of The Economist and a long time user of the App(s). I usually make do with the below par CX of the audio queue but I don’t enjoy it. I’d be better described as bearing it in order to access the content that I really like.
Was really tempted to lower the stars in order to get your attention on that matter.
Great read but tech issues
- unclear how to download audio
- can’t connect on browser, only on app
Excellent articles
The Economist’s articles are arguably the best you can find on the internet. They are precise, concise and accurate. I really appreciate reading those as it’s deepen my understanding on so many topics. However, it still requires a decent level of English as the writing is sophisticated, yet it is a good way to improve your comprehension when reading elaborate texts.
Fine, fun and british
Thanks
Reading The E. Is a welcome relief. It is not about escaping the turmoils. It is about taking the time to chat with a learned familiar. It makes the difference.
As good as the newspaper itself!
Very useful app with the loud reading capability allowing to still access content while cooking, walking, etc…
Quality of information.
Too much reporting from same countries. More news from other places in the world. USA China and Russia dominated. The best way to diminish importance is paying attention and focusing on other places in the world where good is happening
Excellence content
I highly value content, approach and style from The Economy. The true north light to understand our world.
Best magazine
Give the 360 degree view of worldwide main subject
AI narration
The new AI article narration is not incredible. It can sound robotic compared to the human voices before, especially when meaning is meant to be given by the voice tone. In the article ‘the rotten tail of china’s property’ it messes up a few lines, reducing the professional appearance of the Economist. Either get better AI or bring back the human voices.
Fond et forme
Beaux articles, recherchés, analyse fine, et cette pointe d'humour British
