Just impressed how accurate the results of DeepL are. Much better than the big brands. Especially when it comes to words with several meanings, DeepL understands the context AND give in 99% of cases a perfect grammar as well 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

If you want to set yourself apart from Google translate, and even Apple’s translator you’re going to have to make the distinction just as nearly all subtitles and dubs do on Disney+. It’s not even close to the same dialect.

I really like this app because it’s so accurate. But the thing is… There’s not enough languages. Why not add some like Arabic, more Scandinavian languages, Korean, Latin American Spanish, or Thai? I would love that.

Portuguese language translation to soft can’t hear it. English is loud enough.

Excellent way of communicating with your friends.

I am Brazilian and testing the app I definitely think it is the best, but it does not speak the translation so it’s harder for my parents who don’t speak English to use - is that an additional feature I am not aware of?

Why does the android and iOS versions have different compatible languages for image translate. I want to use this for Japanese but it’s not on iOS yet but it is on android version. So what’s the hold up.

It’s a good App and helpful, but I always find myself going to the web version because I cannot find examples as the side provides, I hope you‘d add it asap, thank you!

Love the app but I need to have it keep going with the translation. This one just listens, then you have to stop recording to see what was said. I need to have it listen AND show me what’s just been said at the same time, because I’m using it to translate what patients say to the doctor in Spanish (and I’m a student listening). So I kind of need a transcriber

It’s really so helpful and nice app but sadly It doesn’t have (a translation to Arabic) tho 24 countries speak Arabic besides the people who would like to learn it.

The translation is quite good. But if you want to scan text with the camera and are holding the camera with one hand to do so, and the other is holding a piece of paper to scan, then the insert text button at the bottom of the screen cannot be reached. So the feature is almost unusable in this common scenario . It’s a ux problem.

Deep L is fast and easy!

Unbelievable app. So easy to navigate. I would recommend this app to anyone trying to learn a new language. It’s so good you could start relying on it to much.

Starting with bad 1. Cannot translate pinyin Chinese 2. Voice translator does not work at all! (not even close) Now the good 1. The camera does exceptionally well in translated printed Chinese (mandarin). 2. Easy to navigate app. Conclusion If you are translating articles, and such with the camera, this is very accurate! If you can use a Chinese keyboard, then it seems accurate. However, if you want to use voice translation or typing in Pinyin than this app is not recommended in my opin

You can scan whole document pages and get accurate, fast, translations. I’m using it to improve language skills— going back and forth between reading pages in their own language and reviewing with Deep L photo-scanned translations. And it’s working. Really impressed and happy with this app.

need to find a way in settings to remove the spell check. crazy to have auto correct in a translate app

This app is excellent, accurate, and easy to use.

I don’t remember how I came across this app but I’ve been using it as my go to. The only random issue I have is sometimes when I write in the input field the app will output what I wrote without translation

I don’t know how the developers of this app have done it, but it is head over heels better than google translate, at least the English/French version. How did I function without this for so long? It is life-changing.
